Challenge: The client wanted a senior professional to take on the role of Head Operations while being able to work as an EA with their Co-Founder and COO.
Solution: The client required a senior candidate for the role of Head of Operations, who was willing to take on the role of an Executive Assistant to the co-founder and COO. Typically senior professionals heading operations in an IT firm would not be interested in taking up an additional EA role as well. It was a challenging experience for our consultants, who used their networking and referencing skills to identify the right kind of candidates for this role.
We performed DISC assessments and used our in-house video interview service MetVid to conduct pre-employment screens to ensure the compatibility of behavioural traits of the prospective candidate with the senior officials of the company. The requirements were unique in that they required a more personality-driven and interactive approach than a data-driven one. The process went smoothly with the help of various tools as well as our consultants’ ability to expertly gauge behaviour and personality traits.
